** A note on Tagliamonte intaglios:

These gems are handmade from incandescent glass whose color only presents itself once the piece has cooled. They are extremely labor intensive and skilled artisans use matrices based on ancient Roman designs to carve in to the glass. They are truly special and are imbued with a deep history. 

These intaglios are set with a heavy bezel that gives extra protection to the glass stone but take care when wearing.
